HELLO, JOPLIN!
Joplin is the hub of the four-state area, with two major health systems, a university and a long list of trucking, manufacturing and retail employers. Moseley’s family-owned team is about 90 minutes east on I-44, ready to help Joplin offices plan bigger projects and stay stocked.
JOPLIN AT A GLANCE
Joplin is a city of about 51,800 in Jasper and Newton counties, where I-44 meets I-49, at the center of a metro of more than 210,000 people. Freeman Health System and Mercy Hospital Joplin are among its largest employers, along with the school district, Missouri Southern State University, trucking firms and manufacturers.
Range Line Road carries the city’s retail and commercial traffic, and downtown Main Street, part of historic Route 66, keeps adding offices, shops and restaurants. Much of the city was rebuilt after the 2011 tornado, and new construction keeps spreading east toward I-44.
